TEDx Ambassadors
Who are the ambassadors?
TEDx Ambassadors are experienced organizers who serve as regional mentors, connecting and supporting TEDx teams in their part of the world. TED appoints them in some regions to help oversee and grow local connections. Ambassadors are mentors, not gatekeepers. They can't grant licenses, approve events or make sponsorship or organizing arrangements for other teams.
What do they do?
Strengthen their regional TEDx community by connecting organizers, encouraging collaboration, sharing resources and hosting or encouraging other organizers to host regional workshops. They help protect the TEDx brand by monitoring usage for guideline compliance and reporting misuse. Plus, they provide TED with suggestions to strengthen and grow TEDx in their region.

The best way to reach a TEDx Ambassador is usually through their profile on TED.com (linked below), through their event website or on social media. If you're a licensed TEDx organizer and can't find a way to contact your ambassador, email tedx@ted.com.

Becoming a TEDx Ambassador
TEDx Ambassadors are selected by TED from seasoned TEDx organizers who have demonstrated leadership within their regional community. This is an invite-only experience, and there is no formal application process to become an ambassador; ambassadors are invited to serve based on their contributions and engagement with TEDx.
Ambassador experience
In addition to supporting the TEDx community, ambassadors become part of a global network of accomplished organizers and work closely with the TED team to share insights and strengthen the program. Ambassadors participate in training and regular discussions with TED, are recognized on TED.com, and receive a complimentary pass to a TED Conference.
