Sekar believes that the measure of any great contribution is the positive impact it has on people’s lives. At the heart of Sekar efforts, is a steadfast commitment to serving the communities she’s a part of. She believes that the only way to effectively tackle every challenges is by working collaboratively, and she is grateful to share this road with so many passionate leaders he had worked and will be working with. She is engaged and enjoyed in every work she has done because she feels that it’s the right thing to do — and because she wants to witness the result better than the moment she collectively planned it. By living and leading with values, she has a big hope to be a ripple in the pond that inspires a far greater change in everything she does.

My journey commenced with a passion for photography that burgeoned from a simple hobby. Exploring the intricacies of capturing moments through a lens was my initial fascination. Collaborating with influencers in the photography realm was a turning point. These collaborations not only honed my skills but also provided a platform to showcase my work, amplifying my reach and exposure. The evolution was organic—I transitioned from merely clicking pictures to immersing myself in travel, seeking picturesque landscapes and cultural vignettes. Travel became not just a means of exploration but an opportunity to curate visual narratives. The thrill of hopping on a bike and venturing into uncharted territories added a new dimension to my expeditions. These rides ceased to be just a mode of transport; they became enjoyable quests to discover the unseen, to capture the raw essence of places through my lens. What began as two distinct passions soon began to coalesce seamlessly. The symbiosis between photography and travel emerged naturally. Each photo captured during my journeys became a testament to my experiences and adventures. The innate connection between documenting my travels and the visual storytelling aspect of photography magnified the impact of both pursuits. In this intersection, I found a harmonious balance. Photography and traveling once pursued individually, now work hand in hand. The art of capturing moments and the thrill of exploring new destinations complement and enhance each other. The challenges and triumphs in each domain have taught me the value of resilience, continuous improvement, and the importance of embracing a growth mindset—qualities pivotal to excelling in both entrepreneurial endeavors and the realms of photography and travel.

I’m deeply interested in understanding how history and power have shaped the international order we see today, particularly the long-term effects of colonialism in Africa. I explore these interests through reading, research and more, eager to learn more about them in various contexts and forms.

I am passionate about empowering young people to discover their voice, embrace their potential, and create meaningful impact in the world. I believe that every student has the ability to think critically, innovate boldly, and act responsibly when given guidance, opportunity, and encouragement. As an educator and TEDx organizer, I am driven by the joy of seeing students step beyond their comfort zones, explore new ideas, and express themselves confidently. I am passionate about blending education with creativity, sustainability, and technology, especially AI, to prepare learners not just for exams, but for life. I am deeply committed to creating learning environments where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities, and students are inspired to take meaningful action. My passion lies in nurturing changemakers who will shape a better, more compassionate, and innovative future.
