I am a Junior at Valparaiso University going for a Bachelors degree in International Business and minoring in Spanish. My love of International Business brought me to VISA the largest international presence on campus. Through this I took certain opportunities and became the International Student Senator working on the VISA board and Student Senate. Because of my knowledge I was elected as VISA president and successfully ran the organization getting a $1200 increase on our budget for the upcoming year. Finally this connection led me to BridgeMe and helped me take on the role of Director at Valparaiso University successfully starting up a new chapter. I look forward to working with more International organizations across campus to provide even more services and events to better our school. Currently I advise ten mentors for the Valparaiso BridgeMe Chapter which helps provide services for incoming International students all across the globe. As well I founded a partnership called Ayopa LLC which is committed to provide services such as app development, data mining, and website design. We hope to see that grow and provide more services to an ever growing tech market. Once graduated I aspire to work with leaders all across the globe in a nonprofit sense to combat the biggest health issues affecting the world.

I am truly passionate about helping others. Whether that be in healthcare or giving others the inspiration to better themselves. Small steps today make big actions tomorrow.

An idea worth spreading which most know but dont utilize is that hard work pays off. The old tale of the hare and the turtle is so true. Because you don't have to be the smartest, strongest, fastest or event the best looking. If you work harder you can out beat almost anyone. As well consistency is key and if you can master consistency you can become good at anything. My final idea that I believe is worth spreading is that talent is overrated, skill is by far more valuable.

My TED story starts a year ago when TED was just a whisper on the wind to me. Until eventually my roommate and fraternity brother would introduce me to TED talks. I remember everyday after school I would come home to a smiling face full of glee because he would watch these so called TED talks. Finally I gave in and after the first I was hooked. I had to have more, and more I did. Through my growth of knowledge I came to truly grow fond of TED talks. Then came the next chapter of my TED story when I was introduced to my would be friend and Mentor Raymond a speaker from TEDxMoonLake. I asked Raymond how can I be a speaker on TEDx, to which he replied you have to do extraordinary things. So ever since then I have committed myself to endeavors that I thought would do amazing things bringing me many successes. Through these successes I have been encouraged to apply for a license for my university. I am excited to see where that will take me.

People don't know that I am good at networking and using my connections to the fullest. I have a way of utilizing my resources and assets to achieve the greatest outcome each time.
