I am excited by life because science gives me the framework to understand how everything around us exists, reproduces and undergoes processes of change. Biotechnology is more than a field of study for me, it is the very basis of my dreams, a domain, which despite the size of its findings, can introduce rare and genuine solutions for the creation of value for humanity. I am motivated by examples of how biology and technology will only add new dimensions to already established fields of health, sustainability, and innovation. I am particularly fascinated with areas of neuroscience because the human brain remains one of the most intriguing mysteries. Learning more about the brain and how we learn and understand ourselves, may change the way we deal with medicine and learning in the future. My desire is to be a part of the collaborative paths of discovery and impact

Skin of Colour I am deeply invested in advancing dermatology for Skin of Colour. This passion comes from addressing unmet needs, building safe, effective solutions, and creating science that truly reflects diverse populations often overlooked in mainstream skincare research.

Whether it’s through community-focused projects like my Glamorous Cupcakes fundraiser for the Japan Heart Organization or through Empowered Teen Pathways, I strive to inspire and empower those around me. In the future, I aspire to combine my passion for service with my interest in medicine, particularly in improving child healthcare, as I believe that making a tangible impact in people's lives is one of the most fulfilling pursuits. My experiences have shown me the power of community and how dedication, resilience, and passion can lead to something far greater than what you start with—whether that’s in fundraising, education, or simply offering support to someone in need.
