Adam Camenzuli
Co-Founder of Karibu Solar Power
Adam Camenzuli is an entrepreneur, diplomat and CFO with over 15 years of experience across East and Southern Africa. He co-founded KARIBU Solar Power and has held CFO roles across multiple sectors and recently led a $21 million capital raise for a pan-African healthcare and distribution company. He holds the CFA, CAIA, and CBV designations. Fluent in Swahili, he also manages a 50-acre farm in Malawi and supports mission-driven businesses through strategic finance and operational guidance.
Becca Katz
Co-founder of Good Natured Learning
Becca Katz is an educator, edupreneur, mother, partner, friend, nature-lover, writer, and activist. Hundreds of days spent traveling in remote wildernesses from the Arctic to the Andes showed her that human-nature connections are essential for people and our planet. Becca co-founded Good Natured Learning to equip educators to integrate “apple-a-day” nature connections into their routine teaching practices in schools. Becca holds degrees from Stanford and writes mothering Nature. She lives in Nairobi with her husband, daughters, and sweet old dog.

Catherine currently works as the Managing Director of Microsoft, Africa Development Centre; a software Development center that builds some of Microsoft's Products used globally. She is well versed with the Technology(IT) landscape having led and worked with team across different sectors; Manufacturing,, Aviation, Banking, and the Technology industry. Prior to Joining Microsoft, ADC,she was part of the Executive leadership team and led digital transformation at Stanbic bank Kenya/ South Sudan as Head, Engineering and at Sidian Bank as Director, It and Operations. Catherine is passionate about using technology to create business outcomes, a champion for inclusion of more women in technology and growing tech talent in Kenya and Africa.
Ciku Kimeria
Stragist Specialist/ Author and Writer
Ciku Kimeria is an author, journalist, communications and strategy specialist, and adventurer who has traveled to 60 countries, half in Africa. She writes fiction and non-fiction spotlighting untold African stories and hosts The Griot’s Path, a podcast uncovering the continent’s hidden histories. An Opinion Columnist at Bloomberg and former Quartz Africa editor, she has also written for African Arguments, OkayAfrica, and The Africa Report. She speaks English, Swahili, and French, and holds a B.Sc. in Management from MIT.
Hannes Van den Eeckhout
Founder of Rootical
Hannes has 15 years of experience in agroecology and purpose-driven entrepreneurship to transform food systems in Europe, Latin America and East Africa. He founded Rootical in Uganda, a venture studio to build and finance regenerative agri-food companies. Before that, he worked for five years in Peru strengthening farmer networks and the agroecology transition, and five years scaling a direct food sales e-commerce platform in Belgium and the Netherlands, which grew to €12 million in annual sales in these market

A serial entrepreneur and investor, Dr. Laila also leads the Africa Programs at Imaginable Futures, a philanthropic initiative of the Omidyar Group, and serves on a number of leading corporate boards including Centum, an investment company listed on the East Africa Stock Exchange.

Ngugi Garega
Ceo of PromptBI
Ngugi is an entrepreneur by profession and a traveler by natural inclination. After building and selling his first startup in India, and losing everything in the process, he stepped away from business to search for deeper meaning. That journey led him to spend two years as a monk, immersing himself in Eastern philosophies, meditation, and simplicity. A lover of Bollywood music and Indian languages, Ngugi speaks four of them and once cycled for four months from the northern to the southern tip of India. When he’s not building ventures or exploring new cultures, you’ll probably find him humming along to his favorite song, Logical by Supertramp.

He holds a PhD in Communication Science, an MBA, and an MSc in International Business. His career focuses on global aviation management and brand communication, with a strong commitment to connecting people and cultures through travel.

Founder of Maziwa
ahar Jamal is an entrepreneur, growth coach, and angel investor passionate about maternal health and women’s economic empowerment. As founder of Maziwa, she is dedicated to ensuring Kenyan mothers never have to choose between breastfeeding and earning a living. Maziwa’s breast pumps, co-created with hundreds of Kenyan mothers, enable women to express milk discreetly in any work environment, while its Community Breastfeeding Ambassador program democratizes access to lactation support in underserved communities.
