I've got a degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies by SUNY Buffalo Sate. Nowadays, I work as an EAL teacher in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I am also a certified translator. I'm curious and restless. Because of that, I started my experience with TED by joining the Open Translation Project. Then, I became a volunteer for TEDxLaçador in Porto Alegre. After some time, I decide that I want to have the students of my school involved more with TED( Iam a NJHS advisor). So we started a TED-ED Club at my school. The kids got so involved that the next step was to organized TEDxYouth @PAS(we've organized two so far). Also. I am a wife of Marcelo and mom of two teenagers. I run, do yoga, take part in a percussion women's orchestra, take part in a Book club, cook my family food, and always find time to be with friends with family. I believe we need to be the change we want the world to do.
