I first encountered TED Talks in 2007 while serving as the head of communications in the Mexican Congress. By 2009, during my tenure in state government, one particular TED Talk profoundly impacted my life. It inspired me to leave my secure public service career and embark on a new journey by starting a small communications agency. This experience taught me the immense power of a single idea, delivered at the right moment to the right audience. It ignited my passion for the TED movement, leading me to apply for my first TEDx license in 2013. Since then, I have organized nine standard TEDx events and over fifteen TEDx salon events. Additionally, I have assisted organizers in various locations with their own events, driven by the belief that ideas are the sparks that ignite change. They have the power to inspire, question, and challenge, sparking intriguing conversations or even global movements that can ultimately transform the world. Today, I am convinced that I contribute far more to my community through organizing impactful TEDx events than I ever did in any public office. Moreover, I derive immense joy from this work.
