The TED story

I came across TED through Facebook in 2012 a friend of mine shared TEDxYouth@Khartoum Wafa Elamin - Positive thinking talk and I watched it and other talks from TEDxYouth@khartoum and thought what all the speakers spoke about were great and left it at that I didn't know what TED stood for or what exactly is it? but around January 2013 also through Facebook I watched Amy Purdy - Living beyond limits talk and immediately I wanted to know more so I did and watched so many inspiring mind boggling talks and from there on I fell in love with TED I just wanted to be a part of the upcoming TEDxKhatoum event so I decide to go for it and I think being in the right place mentally and the right time in my life made it possible.
