Mentoring and advising my friends in need of emotional support. I find it crucial that a human being should be there to support others, with respect to their own boundaries. Many times I've found myself in situations where I couldn't stay calm with the idea that a person is going through something, whether that be a close friend or someone I didn't know. I've come to the realization that it is important to establish that connection with people because that's how you build trust, and trust builds any kind of relationships. The most beautiful feeling is to know that somebody trusts you enough to share their concerns and ask you for advise.
On the other hand, sometimes giving too much leads up to a situation where we endanger our own boundaries. However, as much as we empathize with stories, we need to professionalize the line between our story and the story we are listening to.
