Bio
Hi, I'm Matthew Ainembabazi, a 20-year-old Ugandan growth strategist who traded Kampala’s dusty streets, where I once closed marketing deals at a 0.2 % commission, for global stages that shape the future of Inclusive Wealth.
Passionate about channeling resilience into action:
I’ve keynoted ForbesBLK Impact Circles, advised global SaaS founders on growth, and helped shape high-stakes conversations, like the Future of DEI Summit, and the All Black Collective on inclusive wealth, equity, and cross-border collaboration.
This work recently led to my selection as the youngest-ever finalist for the Rising Star Under 35 Award at the Africa Career Summit & Gala Awards. But more than the stages, it’s the system I’m building that matters.
My mission is simple yet bold: to turn Africa’s 88% youth underemployment crisis & incredible 1-in-every-3 entrepreneurship level, into mutually-beneficial global economic opportunity. I strongly advocate for a new kind of bridge, one where the Diaspora doesn’t just give back, but profits with us- safely, sustainably, and with shared value on both sides.
I’m organizing TEDxMUBS to connect eight powerhouse business leaders with under-25 African founders shaping the future, because $1.3 trillion in Diaspora buying power shouldn’t circulate for only six hours and vanish, but can shape the next chapter of the African economy.
I am equal parts strategist and storyteller, building bridges between: boardrooms and boda-boda riders, dollars and dreams, Diaspora and homeland, because investing in Africa is no longer charity; it's smart business.
