I use art to attempt to answer the question, how can I affect positive change - rather than just creating the illusion of affecting positive change by merely creating a bigger echo chamber?
I think the intersectionality of the issues we face as a global community : gender, race, capitalism, the environment - is key to building empathy, understanding and ultimately progress.
I believe in the power of art to achieve incredible things, it's a great unifier and if we can find artful and interesting ways to have difficult conversations, I think we unlock the key to creating action from apathy.
