Psychology & Philosophy Love reading and philosphical discussion. I co-founded a book club within school with 4 other students, holding weekly book salon. Now, we're reading Against Interpretation by Susan Sontag. I took part in 2018 China Brain Bee which is a neuroscience competition, and successfully entered national round. This competition helped me to have a deeper understanding about cognitive science and Psychology. In terms of Psychology, Neuroscience serves as a shortcut to comprehend human behavior.

I was born and raised in a multicultural family. My parents come from different nationalities and the collision between different cultures has always been with me since childhood. Whenever my parents fought over different opinions, they would play a one-person speaking game called "Speak My Mind" to clear the air. Growing up, I witnessed countless "speeches" from my parents and giving speeches to each other gradually became a way for us to share our thoughts. Today, public speaking is not only the warmest memory of my life but also the love and passion of my life. Wherever I am in the world, I always looking for local public speaking organizations and enjoy every second of my life whenever giving or listening to a speech.By listening to the stories and thoughts of others, I have extended my own limited experience of life and made myself more forgiving. When I give a speech, I feel like I am a flame that ignites others and sparks the most beautiful thoughts together.

I love studying some psychology in my leisure time. The world is made up of people, and psychology, as a discipline studying people, helps me better understand this world. For example, "The Righteous Mind" informed me about the reasons behind openness. No one can grasp the truth without listening to others' advice. Psychology also teaches me to understand myself. Diving and swimming are my favorite sports. I have two diving certificates, OW (Open Water) and AOW (Advanced Open Water), and am currently obtaining the Divemaster certificate. Watching movies and taking photos with my camera also make my life more interesting. The former allows me to see many stories that have yet to appear in my life, while the latter documents my life.
