• Noha Sultan

  A Teacher and Student in English Language Noha Sultan, was born in 1991, she is a teacher of English and a senior in Education College, English Department, Aden University. She had participated in the International Speech Competition in London in 2010 as a representative of her country and she was given the opportunity to study as an Exchange Student in Grand Valley University in The U.S in the year 2010-2011 where she participated in presenting the event of “Islamic Faces”, also she participated by appearing in a documentaries such as “Cultural Diversity in Grand Valley” and “Hijab in America”. Her hobbies are reading and being surrounded by a fun atmosphere. Her motto in life “Be yourself, be special”.

• Farouq Ibrahim

  Higher Studies Student He was born in 1982, graduated from Alfarouq High School in Lahj then he acquired his B.A degree in Education College, English\French Department, Aden University. He started his practical life as a volunteer teacher of English at the same school he graduated from then he worked as a translator for the Handicap Int’l Belgium in Aden then a teacher of English in many institutes in Sana’a Aden and as a teacher or Arabic for non-native speakers. He moved later on from education and teaching to management after he got a job as an administrative officer responsible for contracts issuing with local and international specialist in the German organization GIZ for international cooperation in the main office in Sana’a. In 2011 he obtained a DAAD scholarship from the German government to complete his Masters in Jordan, currently he is finishing his Master’s thesis in good governance. Farooq describes himself as an active person who loves to participate in out of class activities for he used to present the school morning radio for four years, also he was responsible for it in the last two years of high school. In his college studies he had the opportunity to participate as Casca in Julius Cesar play in English with a group of college students in Aden University and it was directed by “Jamil Mahfodh”. He like to learn languages, he enjoys photography on the academic side he is interested in good governance, civil organizations, and methods of strengthening the principles of participation, transparency and accountability in the society and to achieve justice, equality and equal opportunities.

• Sana Mubarak

  A Doctor and Writer Sana was known for her academic and scientific excellence, the first place was her companion through her studies in primary and elementary school when she was crowned the first place in Aden in the Elementary School Examination, then the tenth place at the level of the republic in the High School General Certificate. She was granted a scholarship to study Medicine and General surgery in Cairo University where she graduated with honors, obtaining a scholarship from the German Foundation for Cultural Exchange to study Masters in pediatrics. Sana has many cultural activities, she Contributed to the establishment of Al-Rwaq of culture and creativity in Cairo and served there as general coordinator for two years. She also participated in many conferences, literary and cultural seminars inside and out. Sana believes that her talent to write makes her able to transfer her ideas and communicate with her surrounding effectively. She has many articles and texts that were published in different local and Arabic site such as Middle East Online, AlQuds Al Arabi, Al Hayat, Aden Tomorrow, Al Amna’a, Al Masdr, Yemen News and other. She has a book that’s going to be published which is a group of articles on Medicine and Life.

• Habib Albdul-Rab Sorori

  A University Professor and Novelist He was born in Aden, in August 15, 1956. He is currently a professor in the Mathematical and Software Engineering Department at Rouen University, France and been there since 1992. He oversees joint European university projects research team and many PhD researches. He is also the author of textbooks in computer science and he has published more than 95 scientific papers over the last two decades in French and English in different conferences and international scientific magazines. Abdulrab has published literary works in Arabic which were published in different publishing houses such as AlAdab, AlSaqi, AlRayes and Beirut. Also a French novel was published by L'Harmattan the French publishing house.

• Asmahan Al-Als

  A University Professor and Researcher She was born in Sheikh Othman in Aden ,she holds a BA in history from the University of Aden , and a Masters in Humanities from the University of friendship Russian , and a PhD in Modern and Contemporary History from the Institute of Arab Research and Studies , she received local and international courses in Aden , Germany , UAE, Egypt, Iraq , Kuwait and Qatar in the years between ( 1979-2011). She worked at the school during the high school years (1969-1981) , then director of scientific research at the University of Aden , then Vice-President of research Unit and women's Studies , then an assistant professor and then associate professor of history during the current year . She holds a membership in a number of associations and local federations that are interested in the affairs of history and women , in addition to being the Secretary General of the Association of Yemeni history and effects of Aden. She participated in the supervision of a number of theses in Aden , and has worked as a mentor in a number of workshops in Aden . She oversaw the management of a number of projects for the restoration of historic monument in the city of Aden , including the restoration Project and rehabilitation of the minaret of Aden , and documenting the cultural heritage of Aden , she has a number of writings and books that are on the process of being published.

• Nasr Fadhl

  A Teacher and community activist Born in 1988 in the province of Lahj, he is a graduate of the College of Education in Khormaksar - Aden University, he is also a graduate of the Fulbright FLTA Program in the United States. He is active in volunteer work and community services and is interested in photography and international relations, he presents Yemen in the cultural exchange program “Global of Exchange,". He is currently a teacher of English language at "AMIDEAST Aden."

• Maroof Oqba

  Consultant of Geology Born Crater in Aden , November 1953 , holds a BA with first class honors and a Master Economic geology from India ,he has received a number of courses of Interior and Foreign Affairs in Kuwait , Jordan , Britain and the United States . He worked as a non- resident in a number of colleges, and as a Consultant i in several projects with local, regional and international organizations, the Social Fund for Development, the General Authority for water Resources , the General Authority for Environmental Protection , the Arab Fund for economic and Social Development - Kuwait , the Islamic Bank - Jeddah , the World Bank , UNDP United Nations - UNESCO . He participated in a number of scientific conferences and symposia ( local , regional and international ) , he has a number of studies related to aspects of the natural environment and heritage of the city of Aden ,he also co-sponsored a number of studies on the development of mineral resources and land us, and environmental impact assessment of projects , including a project to protect the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden PERSEGA and aof Aden Master plan (2005 - 2025). Moreover, he participated in the supervision and as a reference to a number of Masters and PhD in the field of Earth and Environmental Sciences .Currently, he is the president of the geological Society of Aden.

• Arafat Hashim

  An Employee and social activist He studied his first school years in the city of Aden and then he left at the age of ten to the United Arab Emirates to complete his studies and then completed his undergraduate studies in Sana'a and has taken the first place in all grades during his education, since he was a boy, he was carrying on his shoulders the burden of children with special needs. He worked on the opening of school class to study on their own, he also contributed to the opening of the first sports club for them in the Aden and called it" Manar Club" and contributed to the establishment of the first sign language dictionary in Yemen . He struggled and still struggling to develop the education of people with special needs and defending their rights. He is currently working as an employee for “image light setter” in October 14foundation for printing and publishing.

• Hind Al- Eryani

  A Journalist and a Political, Social Activist She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sana’a University and a Masters in Business Administrations from Beirut, at the moment she works as an editor journalist for Gulf affairs in the Lebanese electronic newspaper “NOW” which is broadcasted from Beirut where “Hind” resides at the present. Arabic and English articles has been published for her in many newspapers and electronic sites such as the Lebanese As-Safir Newspaper, Yemen Times, Aljamhoria Al-Yemenia Newspaper, Al-Arabiya net, the French TV5 and more. She also has a weekly radio blog in the French Monte Carlo Radio station. Hind Al-Eryani was an initiative in two campaigns which many local and international newspapers talked about. The first campaign was called “Shame on Reuters” which resulted in shedding Reuters correspondent in Sana’a due to “conflicts of interest” and also she had organized and got involved in a series of campaigns against Qat, one of the campaigns called for enacting a law to prohibit Qat in government institutions which was the first campaigns against this drug which found support by officials in the government of Yemen. She has written about her activities in many international newspapers such as the French Le Monde, also the Saudi Al-Ayam newspaper described her as “Qat Fighter”, she was selected by Al-Monitor as one of the best 50 tweets in the Middle East on Twitter.

• Ali bin Amer

  A Journalist and TV presenter Born in 1986 in Aden ,he holds a diploma in secretarial in the field of computers , and a Bachelor of Journalism and Media specialization " Radio and Television " , he received multiple courses , including courses in the skills of the journalist destruction from the center of the island 's media training and rehabilitation in Qatar , and a course in film directing and assets of film production in the capital of Iran " Tehran " at the hands of senior Iranian directors. He made a number of reports and pictured human stories "Al Jazeera talk " , he also directed the film " Yemeni women .. A continuous struggle," and he worked as a participant director in the film " Aden and the forty note, " He participated in the Festival of the island 's eighth Films documentaries , and participated as an assistant search in the movie "The Road to 25 January," for Al-Jazeera channel, and he is a participant in dubbing the film " blood on your mobile phone ," for Al Jazeera . Furthermore, he participated as a main the person in preparing a number of documentaries about women and African refugees and displaced people of Abyan , also he participated in commenting and dubbing a number of local documentaries . Currently, he works as a contagious and presenter at Radio Aden since six years ,Also he is the producer and presenter of TV programs in Aden for a year and a half , his hobbies are painting and writing short stories .
