• Aisha Alkali Mohammed

  Passionate Novelist

  Aisha Alkali was born and raised in Nigeria, where her upbringing played a significant role in shaping her values, perspective, and ambitions. She is a final-year secondary school student of Nigerian Tulip International Colleges. She is of Nupe origin, and was raised in a background that emphasizes hard work, responsibility, and discipline. From an early age, she developed a strong interest in learning, creativity, and self-expression, which led her to write and complete three novels. Writing has become an important part of her personal growth, allowing her to explore ideas and communicate effectively. She is known for being dependable, motivated, and focused in both her academic and personal pursuits, and remains committed to developing her skills and building a strong foundation for her future goals.

• Aisha Islah Kabir

  Student

  Islah Aisha Kabir is an SS2E student at NTIC COED, Abuja whose voice reflects honesty, depth, and emotional courage. She enjoys reading, public speaking, and creative writing, and is passionate about youth leadership, hoping to inspire others through her ideas. In her TEDx talk, “Unspoken Words,” Islah explores the hidden struggles people carry and the power of expressing what we often leave unsaid. Inspired by her personal journey with communication and vulnerability, she encourages others to speak up, embrace openness, and break the silence that distances us from one another.

• Anas Ali Ibn Malik

  Public Speaking Enthusiast

  Anas Ali IBN Malik is an IGCSE student in NTIC Cambridge School, Abuja. He has keen interest in youth leadership, effective communication, and personal development. He is an active member of his school’s TEDX club, where he has strengthened his public speaking skills and ability to engage critically with ideas. In his TEDx talk, Malik explores the concept of personal vision and the importance of having a clear sense of direction at a young age. He reflects on how understanding one’s values, goals, and purpose can influence decision-making and personal growth. Through his talk, Malik hopes to encourage students to reflect on their aspirations and take intentional steps towards shaping their future.

• Fatimah Alhassan

  Creative and Imaginative Thinking Enthusiast

  Fatima Alhassan is a JSS2 student at NTIC COED Abuja with a strong interest in imagination, creativity, and innovation. She is fascinated by how simple “what if” ideas can grow into world-changing realities when people choose curiosity over fear. In her TEDx talk, “Your Crazy Idea Could Change the World,” Fatima explores the tension between imagination and silence, encouraging young people to trust their ideas and voice them boldly. Through storytelling and powerful examples from history, she inspires others to embrace curiosity, challenge self-doubt, and recognise that imagination is not madness, but the starting point of meaningful change.

• Khadija Usman

  Public Speaking Enthusiaist

  Khadijah Usman is an 11-year-old girl from Katsina State. She is currently in JSS1 and has a deep love for reading and writing, often spending her free time exploring new books and expressing her thoughts through her writing. Most importantly, she has had a great passion for public speaking since her primary school days and has continued to nurture and develop this talent over the years. Through consistent effort and dedication, she strives to achieve her goals and make the most of every opportunity to grow and improve.

• Laylatu Mustapha Rufai

  Youth Empowerment Enthusiast

  Laylatu Mustafa Rufai is an SS2A student at NTIC Coed Abuja. She has a strong interest in youth experiences, communication, and the impact of the digital age on young people. In her TEDx talk, “What Adults Don’t Realize About Being Young Today,” Laylatu draws on personal experiences to explore the realities of growing up in a fast-changing digital world and to encourage greater understanding between generations. Through her voice, she hopes to bridge the gap between young people and adults and create more open, empathetic conversations.

• Madeeha Tijjani

  Fiction Enthusiast

  Madeeha is a bright and dedicated 7year old learner from Oyo State, currently in Primary 3. She has a remarkable love for reading, a passion that earned her The (Best Reader Award) throughout Grade 2, and she continues to shine in her reading skills in Grade 3. In class, Madeeha is calm, focused and always eager to learn. She enjoys discovering new ideas through books, helping her parents at home and learning from her teacher whom she deeply appreciates. Her love for reading has shaped her vision of a future where every child sees books as a doorway to imagination, knowledge and confidence.

• Maeesha Adebimpe Abdulafeez-Olajire

  Creative Expression Enthusiast

  Maeesha is an 8-year-old speaker with a passion for creativity, expression, and meaningful dialogue. Known for her kind and friendly disposition, she enjoys exploring ideas through art and thoughtful conversation. With a natural enthusiasm for communication, Maeesha is learning to channel her energy into purposeful discussions that encourage understanding, creativity, and positive impact. Through her TEDx talk, she shares her perspective on how young voices can contribute thoughtfully to important conversations.

• Mjai Fatim

  Fatim is an 11 year old Gambian, born on the 24th of February,2014. Fatim is a student whose intelligence and hard-work speak without words. Fatim is a force to reckon with because of her resilience, courage , boldness and capability. Her favourite hobbies are: Sporting, watching movies, playing video games and writing short essays. She also has an impeccable love for reading which made her emerge the best reader in her class. Fatim's personality spells calmness, brilliance and excellence.

• Olivia Chisom Nwachachukwu

  Personal Development Enthusiast

  Nwachachukwu Olivia Chisom is an IGCSE student in NTIC Cambridge School Abuja, Nigeria with a strong interest in leadership, communication, and youth empowerment. She is actively involved in the school’s TEDX club, where she has developed confidence in public speaking and critical thinking. Olivia talk explores the power of student voice and the role young people can play in shaping positive change within their schools and communities. Through sharing personal observations and practical ideas, she hopes to encourage students to speak up, take initiative, and try to be the best version of themselves.

• Rahma Idris

  African History and Leadership Enthusiast

  Rahma Idris is an SS 2 student of NTIC (Girls) Abuja. She is the second of four children born to a legal practitioner and a medical doctor. She discovered her passion for public speaking during her primary school days. She is an avid debater, a gifted poem writer and reciter, and an eloquent speaker. She has participated in many contests and won a few. In 2022, she spoke at the Medicaid Cancer Walk, and won a prize at the JRB solar essay writing and speech competition, in 2024.She dreams of becoming a medical doctor and owning her own NGO.

• Samantha Kwalmi

  If you think the smart ones are not yet born then think again because, Samantha can make you think again. Samantha Kwalmi ie a 7-year-old Nigerian from Plateau State. Born on the 20th of August,2018. Samantha is a smart, young lad who is also known for her utmost punctuality in her class. Samantha loves reading, painting and swimming. Boldness, strength, agility is embodied in a young girl and she is "Samantha’’.

• Sasha Aokaizi’s

  Emotional Intelligence Enthusiast

  Sasha Aokaizi is an IGCSE student in NTIC Cambridge School with a growing interest in communication, emotional awareness, and human behavior. She is actively involved in school discussions and speaking activities that encourage reflection and open dialogue among young people. In her TEDx talk, Sasha examines why people often respond with “I’m fine” even when they are struggling emotionally. She explores how social expectations, fear of vulnerability, and everyday pressures influence the way individuals express their feelings. Through this talk, Sasha hopes to encourage more honest conversations and help young people recognize the importance of acknowledging and sharing their emotions.
