César Zavistanovicz
Real Estate Agent; Retired Banker
César Zavistanovicz was born in Marau, Rio Grande do Sul. He built his professional career over 36 years as a banker and manager at Caixa Econômica Federal, working in various cities in the state. During this period, he was involved in the management of financial operations, credit, and programs linked to regional development. He holds a degree in Accounting Sciences from the University of Passo Fundo (UPF) and a postgraduate degree in Business Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Currently, he works as a real estate broker, applying his experience in finance and management to the real estate sector. His work involves investment analysis, estate planning, and monitoring real estate transactions.

Julia Caon Froeder
Research & Development Consultant
Julia Caon Froeder, a public relations professional specializing in business management, is the Coordinator of the Climate Mural Brazil and Project Manager at the Gerações Foundation. With over 11 years of experience in the third sector, she works with network engagement and mobilization, international campaigns, sustainable events, and climate education. She has previously worked at the Maurício Sirotsky Sobrinho Foundation, the International Advisory Office of PUCRS, and The Climate Reality Project, Al Gore's NGO. Since 2018, she has studied climate issues and is part of international networks such as Global Shapers (World Economic Forum) and Virada Sustentável. She participated in the Unleash Lab, an innovation laboratory for sustainability in Denmark, studied group facilitation at Kaospilots, and has a TEDx talk on the SDGs, titled "The plan to live and ensure we continue to live".
Juliana Schultz

Juliana Schultz holds a PhD in Chemistry from UFPR, with postdoctoral studies in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering from the same university, accumulating 16 years of research experience focused on the development of advanced materials derived from agricultural, agro-industrial, and industrial waste. Her technical work concentrates on the science of carbonaceous materials, with an emphasis on pyrolysis processes for the production of biochar and biofuels, aimed at capturing and stabilizing CO₂, treating effluents, and mitigating environmental impacts. Holding a granted patent in the field, her intellectual production is based on the transformation of environmental liabilities into technological assets for the circular economy, with strategic applications in increasing agricultural productivity, improving soil quality, and consolidating regenerative production systems.
Marcelo Arioli Heck
Architect and Urban Planner
Architect and Urban Planner graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with a Master's and Doctorate in Urban and Regional Planning from the same institution (PROPUR/UFRGS). He has a solid academic and technical background focused on territorial planning, working in the coordination of master plans, mobility plans, and urban resilience strategies in the face of environmental disasters. Currently, he is a professor at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos), where he coordinates the specialization in Cities: Strategic Territorial Management and is editor-in-chief of the scientific publication ArquiteturaRevista. He is a member of the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of Rio Grande do Sul (CAU/RS) as a Full Member, coordinating commissions related to planning, finance, and the preservation of the profession's technical memory.

Marcelo Arruda is a businessman with degrees in Law and Accounting. He was mayor of Barra do Rio Azul (RS) from 2017 to 2024 and president of Famurs (Federation of Municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul) for the 2024/2025 term. He works in public administration focusing on the development of municipalities, administrative efficiency, and improving infrastructure and services for the population.

Research Impact Fellow Nature and Climate Impact Team, University of Exeter (Reino Unido)
Marcos Oliveira Jr. investigates the intersection of two phenomena that define the contemporary world: climate change and misinformation. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Climate at the University of Exeter (UK), with over 15 years of professional experience at the intersection of technology, data science, and social impact. His work explores how digital technologies can both amplify global risks and strengthen societal resilience to extreme weather events. His research combines data science, artificial intelligence, and scientific communication to understand how information circulates during environmental crises, and therefore, how misinformation can affect decisions, institutional responses, and public trust.
Paulo Nobre
Meteorologist
Paulo Nobre, Ph.D., is a climatologist, professor, lecturer, and author, researching the role of forests in climate. He is a member of the scientific committee of the United Nations Global Climate Research Programme - JSC/WCRP. He is a senior researcher at the National Institute for Space Research - INPE, where he coordinates the following projects: Brazilian Earth System Model - BESM; Intelligent System for Predicting Climate Extremes - SIPEC; Artificial Intelligence and Earth System Models for Predicting Climate Extremes - AIESMx, a partnership between Brazil, India, and China within the BRICS Program; Detection, Prediction, and Monitoring of Oil Spills at Sea - SisMOM; and Climate Science at Home, with high school teachers and students. He is a CNPq Productivity Grant recipient (level 1D).

Currently working as a Specialist in Forest and Biomass Management at Be8 S.A. in Passo Fundo-RS, a major biodiesel producer in Brazil, soon to be a wheat ethanol producer.
