Changing Perspectives

Took placeJuly 5, 2025
LocationNorthwich, Cheshire West and Chester, United Kingdom
FormatStandard
TEDxNorthwich takes place on Saturday 5th July at The Grange Theatre, Hartford, Northwich, UK. Starting at 6.30pm we will bring you an evening of inspirational talks which we hope will spark curiosity, evoke meaningful conversations - both on the night and beyond and even change perspectives. From rethinking snap judgments to understanding how ADHD, motivation and mental health really work, our speakers invite you to look again—at people, systems, and the stories we tell ourselves. Discover surprising truths about resilience, curiosity and cyclical living, challenge assumptions about generations and healthcare and explore what’s driving us....and what might be holding us back. Northwich may be a small town, but it’s one built on big ideas. With roots stretching back to Roman times and a legacy shaped by salt, waterways and market trade, today it’s growing into something new welcoming more families, entrepreneurs and creatives drawn by its community spirit, excellent schools, thriving independent scene and green open spaces. From the regeneration of the town to grassroots projects, music and cultural events like this one, Northwich is a town in transformation built on strong foundations and bold visions. Having TEDx's brilliant concept taking place in Northwich, as an independently organised TED style event, we aim to continue that legacy. Because who knows, one of the ideas shared here could shift your perspective, spark a ripple effect and help shape the future of not only our community but in other communities across the world too.
