Amanda Wah
Owner of Momentum Collective Gym in Warrington
Amanda is the BBC Gladiators 2025 Winner and Owner of Momentum Collective Gym in Warrington. She is a coach and strength athlete who has a deep passion for representation in fitness, especially for those left behind by traditional sport. Life for Amanda is all about family, community, and movement. She runs Momentum with her partner Natalie and loves being a bonus mum to Sullivan and Ida. Losing her mum to early-onset dementia in 2023 sparked her determination to live life to the max. Whether she’s coaching in the gym or speaking in schools, her mission is to show that fitness is for everyone. Amanda believes true strength isn’t about appearance, but instead about heart, resilience, and the courage to keep moving forward – proof that we’re all stronger than we think.

With nearly two decades of secondary teaching experience, she has turned her passion for making science engaging and accessible into a national movement, inspiring thousands of young people through explosive, interactive shows and supporting hundreds of educators in building sustainable STEAM businesses. Her personal journey, starting from childhood, shaped by poverty, to then building a thriving community founded on collaboration, has defined her mission. Charlotte Faulconbridge
Prize-winning poet, multiple change-maker award nominee, and #1 Amazon bestselling author from Inclusive Creatives
With global book sales in 20+ countries, Charlotte Faulconbridge's work continues to be featured across the BBC and international outlets. Her latest book received critical acclaim from screenwriter and BAFTA Fellow Andrew Davies. She's an ambassador for the mental health charity MIND, was nominated for a BBC Make A Difference Award in 2024, and in 2025 was named in the Big Issue’s top 100 Changemakers. Charlotte was born non-verbal and relied on sign language to communicate as a child and into her early teens. After undergoing treatment to realign her frontal lobes she was able, but not comfortable, to speak. At 15 she discovered she was autistic, with verbal communication still a challenge, she became isolated and detached from her peers. Through poetry and signing, she unlocked the courage to express herself authentically. Since she has become an advocate for encouraging alternative methods of communication and has launched "Inclusive Creative" an online hub for disabled creatives
Chloe Tatton

Chloe is a 25-year-old event professional and founder of TSW Together, a growing UK-based community dedicated to supporting people affected by Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) and skin conditions. Through her community platform, she provides tangible support, connection, and hope to individuals navigating these challenging health journeys. Drawing on her background in the events industry, Chloe has directed her expertise toward raising awareness of skin conditions and TSW. Through her social media platforms, she authentically shares her personal experience living with eczema and the debilitating effects of Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Her candid, vulnerable storytelling has resonated with thousands, inspiring people to embrace their skin, their stories, and their resilience. Chloe’s work demonstrates that lived experience can be a powerful catalyst for building community and driving meaningful change.
Daisy Nurse
Student in South Warrington, a performer and competitive footballer
Daisy Nurse is TEDxWarrington’s youngest ever speaker at just 16 years old and a student of Lymm High School in South Warrington. She is currently studying for her A Levels in Sociology, Maths, and Geography, and aspires to study social sciences or law at university. A passionate performer and competitive footballer, Daisy is a Manchester United Ladies season ticket holder and has won the Cheshire Cup with her school team twice. What truly sets Daisy apart is her passion for learning and questioning societal expectations. She is fascinated by how language and labelling impact individuals and society. Her thoughtful, inquisitive approach demonstrates a young person who thinks deeply about identity and belonging. Combined with her love of performance and sport, Daisy brings both youthful energy and genuine intellectual curiosity to important conversations about society and self-discovery.
Dr Jess Morgan
Physician, educator, and mental health advocate
Dr. Jess Morgan's unconventional career path illustrates that professional identity doesn’t need to follow a linear trajectory. After over a decade as a clinical paediatrician, she left medicine in 2019 to retrain as a primary teacher, a transition that deepened her understanding of wellbeing. During her medical career, Jess developed significant expertise in physician wellbeing, drawing on her lived experience of burnout and mental illness to become a leading voice on the topic. She is published in high-impact medical journals and has spoken at national and international conferences. Today, Jess maintains a portfolio career encompassing medical education, primary school teaching, and mental health advocacy. Her varied journey demonstrates that careers can evolve and become richer when we remain open to change. Through her work, Jess shows how meaningful impact across diverse fields is possible whilst maintaining authenticity and personal wellbeing.
Firdaus Khalid
Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader at Manchester Metropolitan University, a VR Artist, and a Game Designer
Firdaus Khalid is a Senior Lecturer and Program Leader at the School of Digital Arts (SODA), Manchester Metropolitan University, a VR artist, and a game designer exploring how AI, virtual reality, gamification, and interactive media shape contemporary identity and selfhood. His creative work spans experimental games and immersive virtual reality projects. As an educator, Firdaus guides students in pushing creative and technical boundaries whilst examining how emerging technologies influence human experience and agency. Through his practice, Firdaus ignites meaningful conversation about who we are becoming in an algorithm-driven world. From this, he aims to answer the question of whether we have the power to choose our own path in this world. By bridging art, technology, and philosophy, Firdaus demonstrates that creative practice is essential to understanding our relationship with AI, VR, and the future of human identity.

Hannah Gerrard is a professional dancer, performer, and artist who completed her vocational training in Warrington and has an impressive career, performing across Europe with prestigious companies including Ballet Do Douro, The London Ballet Company, Ukrainian Classical Ballet, and Oddments Theatre Company, with notable roles including Odette/Odile, Mother Superior, and a Von Trapp child. Outside her performance work, Hannah co-founded Breath of Dance with her mother Nicola Gerrard and colleague Emma Jackson, a creative initiative bringing stories to life through live music and dance. Through her multi-faceted artistic practice, Hannah demonstrates a commitment to using dance as a vehicle for storytelling and exploring identity. Her work bridges classical ballet with contemporary practice, creating transformative experiences for audiences. Her artistic journey reveals that dance is not simply about technical achievement, but about connection, purpose, and discovering who we truly are.

Jonathan Cliffe

Jonathan Cliffe is a Senior Midwife, Team Leader, and has served as Elected Governor at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is one of less than 200 male midwives in the UK and has over a decade of experience supporting women and families. He leads an innovative team, improving equity and access to maternity care for women requiring additional support in pregnancy. A First-Class Midwifery graduate from Bangor University, Jonathan also serves as a Professional Midwifery Advocate, charity ambassador for Mummy’s Star, and is a qualified Civil Celebrant. Jonathan holds postgraduate qualifications in maternal health and is currently completing a second degree in leadership.

His work explores how technology can reconnect people with place, pride, and purpose, including 3D models of lost castles and immersive learning experiences for schools and museums. Keith’s projects bridge heritage and innovation, turning forgotten landscapes into shared spaces of belonging. He believes heritage isn’t just history, it’s how communities see themselves and their future. Through his work, Keith demonstrates that rediscovering local heritage helps to rebuild community identity and collective purpose. His vision extends beyond one place, showing how towns and cities everywhere can reconnect with their stories and reclaim pride in their heritage.

Five years ago, Nikki Potter, a mum of two, realised that alcohol was dulling her potential. Prompted by the question “Who are we without alcohol?”, she took a break from drinking and began building a life that felt authentic, energised and rooted in her values. What started as an experiment helped her achieve clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose. Today, Nikki is a Positive Psychology and Alcohol-Free Performance Coach, dedicated to helping others discover the same freedom and authenticity she found from sobriety. Nikki brings warmth, honesty, and humour to her coaching, talks, and workshops on wellbeing, identity, and intentional living. Oluwakayode Olojugba
Student in Hartford and an accomplished athlete
Kayode Olojugba is one of the youngest TEDxWarrington speakers to date at just 17 years old. A student of The Grange School in Hartford, with aspirations to study Economics at university, and an accomplished athlete, Kayode competes in rugby and athletics whilst pursuing interests in mountain climbing, speedcubing, and photography. Outside of his hobbies, he is passionate about supporting other young people to reach their full potential. During Kayode’s youth, he viewed his black heritage as both a limitation and a weakness. However, he came to recognise his heritage as his greatest superpower. Today, Kayode actively supports other young people through programmes in mentorship and sports leadership camps, helping them to identify their own superpower. His mission is to empower the next generation to embrace their identities and unlock personal growth and fulfilment.
Zoe Harrison
Author, Mental Health Professional, Disability Advocate and Founder of Dystrophy Diaries Podcast
Zoe Harrison is a 27-year-old Information Officer at Muscular Dystrophy UK, and a muscular dystrophy advocate. She is an author, mental health professional, and founder of the podcast ‘Dystrophy Diaries’, which raises awareness of accessibility and inclusion whilst sharing an honest, educational perspective on navigating life with a disability at a young age. Zoe is passionate about challenging society’s narrow perceptions of the disabled body. She emphasises that her identity is not her disability; she is a wife, author, friend, and daughter, and so much more. Her mission is to show that despite life’s hurdles, disabled individuals are not defined by their disabled bodies. Through her work across multiple platforms, Zoe highlights the inequitable challenges people with a physical disability encounter, and she challenges the discomfort that society has with the disabled body image.
