Pamela Meyer

Pamela Meyer is an internationally recognized expert on deception detection, social observation and human behavior. Her newest book is How to Read the Room: The Art and Science of Social Observation. She is the bestselling author of Liespotting and has trained executives, government agencies, and leaders around the world to recognize hidden behavioral signals and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. In How to Read the Room, Meyer expands beyond deception detection to explore social perception, teaching readers to understand emotional undercurrents, leadership signals and blind spots.

Meyer is founder and CEO of Calibrate, Inc., a Washington, DC-based firm that trains businesses in fraud detection, insider threat mitigation and security awareness. Her work has appeared in Harvard Business Review, Time and CNN, among others. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master’s in public policy from Claremont Graduate University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
