Neal Katyal has argued 54 cases before the US Supreme Court — including landmark battles over Guantanamo, the Voting Rights Act and, most recently, presidential tariffs — earning praise from the Chief Justice as one of the finest advocates ever to stand in that room. A Georgetown law professor and former Acting Solicitor General, Katyal is a recipient of the Edmund Randolph Award, the highest honor the Justice Department can bestow on a civilian. He is currently writing a TV show about the Supreme Court with the comedian John Mulaney.
