Bio
A lifelong language lover, I’ve been translating since the age of 14, when I used to spend entire afternoons filling up notebooks with the Italian translations of English lyrics — the only foreign language I spoke at the time. Today, 16 years, four foreign languages and a Bachelor’s Degree in European Languages and Cultures later, I continue to nourish my passion by working as a volunteer translator for TED and other non-profit organizations.
I'm passionate about
AI, animal rights, archeology, art, astronomy, cinema, criminology, education, environment, gender equality, history, human rights, justice, languages, law, linguistics, literature, mental health, new technologies, politics, sociology, wildlife conservation
The TED story
I was introduced to TED towards the end of my senior year of college and got so fascinated by the project that I applied as a volunteer translator the day right after my graduation. I’ve now been proudly helping spread ideas for over 5 years — hopefully the firsts of many. As of February 2022, I am a Language Supervisor for the Italian language.
