Translator working mainly between Mandarin Chinese and English, but also able to translate from Spanish. Freelance translation of all kinds of documents since 2017. Trained in SDL Trados, transcribing and subtitling. I am aiming to gain experience in the translation and interpreting field as a freelance translator between English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. I am an undergraduate student studying BA Translation and Interpreting at the University of Leicester. Coming from Malaysia and Singapore, I grew up in a multicultural and multilingual environment. Being bilingual and fluent in Mandarin and English, I am also able to converse in Malay. Possessing a passion for languages, I chose to study Spanish as I aspire to be a professional translator or interpreter in the future and build bridges by help people of different countries, cultures, and languages communicate by providing my translation and linguistic skills.
