Bio
I am an environmental researcher, a translator, and recently a writer. My mother tounge is Arabic. I speak English, a little Turkish and I have some fading memories of French as well. Currently, I do translations from English to Arabic and vice versa. I hope I will be soon translating from and to Turkish with the possible combinations with Arabic and English. I, also, hope that I will be, by that time, refreshing and adding to my French so that at a later time I can add French to my combinations.
For me, translation is a wide-open door to the universe. It takes me through a trip among different cultures and subjects of science, technology, art, history, and literature and shows me new colors and varying shades of life. Although I love translation in general, I am more keen on localization into Arabic and enriching the knowledgeable material available in Arabic.
I hope by participating in TED-OTP that those "ideas worth spreading" can be accessible to everyone!
