I was born in Rome in 1987. I grew up in this city, where I kept nurturing my passion for languages, communication and linguistics. In 2006, I decided to attend the faculty of Translation and Intercultural Mediation (German, English) at the University of Rome La Sapienza, where I got my Bachelor Degree in 2010. In the meantime, during 2008, I participated to the Erasmus program at the Freie Universitaet in Berlin (Germany). Since I was extremely interested in getting a better knowledge of the German language, decided to move in this city, where I still live today. Already in 2009 I started working as a freelance translator and Italian and English teacher. After I awarded my Bachelor Degree (2010), I concentrated mostly on getting a certain knowledge of the German language, which would allow me to pass the DAF test (C2) and finally enrol at the university for a Master in Media and Communication Studies (ended in 2016). During these years I kept working as a translator, as well as a liaison interpreter (DE-IT-DE, EN-IT-EN) for several events in Germany. Since end of 2016 my main activity is the one of translator and copywriter for editorial and marketing texts (DE-IT, EN-IT). During 2017 I participated to a Seminar organized by STL about Editorial Translation. I am a professional user of Proz and the CAT-Tool I use is OmegaT.

Translation is a wonderful profession, which allows the connection between different cultures by means of an innate medium of the human being: the language.
