Hong Hieu Huynh

I am in the last stage of my PhD study at the University of Nottingham in the UK and I am waiting for my final thesis result; therefore, my schedule is flexible in order to work as a part-time or freelance translator. Furthermore, I am passionate for languages; therefore, I am working hard to become a professional translator in the near future. In addition to interpreting experiences, I have also acquired certain skills, discipline and hard work when participating in societies, volunteering and part-time jobs such as teaching English for children in remote areas during my study time. I consider myself to have adequate capacity and skills to undertake and accomplish my interpreting tasks when under pressure. With a deep knowledge of the culture and history of English-speaking nations, high level of proficiency in English writing and competent translating skills, I strongly believe I will make a great contribution to TED translation team.
