For several years I worked as legal secretary in NYC transcribing lengthy reports on legal cases. After this job, I studied journalism in several Spanish-speaking countries. Then I went on to work as a news reporter in English and Spanish. Now, I study conference interpreting at the University of Maryland.

I love reading literary fiction. Everyone from Junot Díaz, to Yi-Yu Li, to Jhumpra Lahiri, to Checkhov. Now I can tap into that vast store of literary greatness that I have consumed to bring to life videos and movies in other languages. The inner artist has been freed. Life is good!
