Knowledge helps to cope with stress & fear as we are afraid of things we don't know a lot about. The more you learn, the more confident you'll feel in this world.
It is a unique job to be a teacher, it is extremely hard to be a good one as 1) you have to have a detailed, deep knowledge about a topic 2) you'll have to be able to explain it to others, motivate others, be patient with them, lead them, discuss it with them - it takes energy, time, charisma.
