Bio
Born and bred in Tokyo and have been living in Kanagawa since marriage. After graduation from univiersity and several years of clerical work experience in Japan I went to England to study English.
Then back in Japan I have been teaching English for decades while traveling abroad from time to time. The trips gave me a lot of inspiration for my creative activities like haiku, renku, and painting.
I'm passionate about
I've come to a crossroads of my life and am figuring out how to lead the rest of my life befitting my true nature. I'd like to learn from all the talks about variety of life experiences around the world.

Things you might not know
I'm interested in collaborating things beyond genres. For example in my blog I match my paintings or photos with haiku or short words.
In the linking poems called renku I link poems to my painting or photos. In the past I tried so called haibun where I wrote short essay finishing with some haiku as a clincher or an indicative element in the middle. This would be what I would like to pursue in the future.
