Bio
I moved from Hong Kong to Australia as an oversea student when I was 15, it is such a big change in my life, the helplessness makes me come more independent. It is not easy to getting through it but when you look back everything is not as difficult as you think. I am now a year 2 Biomedical science student, I enjoy finding the outcome/result through Science, as there is too much unknown in the world. I like doing and trying lots of different things in different areas, such as doing nails by myself, learning different languages, reading, watching dramas from different countries, baking, cooking, tidying up things, teaching children, learning about different history, exercising, etc. You never try you never know, and there are too much to learn in the world.
The TED story
I was doing IBDP in 2017, volunteering is one of the compulsory criteria that we need to fulfil in order to get the certificate of completion. Since I am new to the community during that time, I have no idea where to look for volunteer work that I am interested in, so I keep looking for different opportunities online, this is where TED talk translator come in place. I watch a lot of TED talk to learn about the theory of knowledge, but I never thought that I can be one of the translator ! I didn't know that what I know can help others getting into a bigger world ! Being a translator let me explore more about the languages I know, watching more TED talks, and wanting to learn more languages, so that I can translate more videos. This is one of the best thing I have ever done in my life.
