I am currently doing a PhD in climate sciences at the University of Graz, Austria. My research focuses on the investigation of stationary high pressure systems (atmospheric blocking) and their impacts on surface temperature extremes. It is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) as part of the interdisciplinary doctoral college DK Climate Change.
From September 2015 to March 2016 I was a visiting researcher at the University of Edinburgh, UK and from April 2017 to September 2017 I was a visiting researcher at the Center for Climate Research (CICERO) in Oslo, Norway.
