Bio

I was born and raised in Brazil, lived in the US and have been in Chile for almost 20 years. After teaching for quite a long time, I decided to enter the fascinating world of translation. Since then I have transcribed and translated the videos you can check out here, two novels and two non-fictions books. I have also done translation on finance, engineering, Health and Safety, Environment among other business related subjects. It has been a amazing. I have learned so much about my own language, about communication and, most important, about community work from TED and Amara teams. I hope to continue helping spread great ideas in my language.

I'm passionate about

Urban sketching, drawing, arts, crafts, choir, singing, reading, writing, the sea ...

An idea worth spreading

Self Education Now, more than ever, we must take control of our education, of what we want to learn, of how we want to live our lives.

The TED story

Some time ago I read that Netflix was hiring subtitlers. Despite my language background, I need subtitling experience. Somehow I landed at the TED Brazilian Translators page.
