The TED story
I have always been a fan of the TED organization and all it does especially the TED Ed videos and the TED talks. Once when I was going through the subtitles option on a TED video I found that most major languages were present in the subtitles however Hindi was missing. Being the 4th most spoken language in the world this came as a shock. On further investigation I found that the translations are provided by volunteers. So I decided to become a translator to make sure that everyone can enjoy the videos on the same level as native English speakers do to make the content more accessible to a wider group of people.
