I was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and as a 10-year old my main goal was to become a wacky inventor. Teens were mostly spent on pen-and-paper RPG:s like Dungeons&Dragons, after that I did a lot of club photography for a while covering the Stockholm Industrial/Goth scene. My 30's were craft beer, urban gardening, travelling the world to climb or scuba dive, and immersing myself in geek culture. I run a monthly nightclub in Stockholm where people can dance to chiptunes, drink beer and play with vintage video game consoles. Professionally I run a small computer consulting firm and a co-working space in Stockholm. I spent 10 years commuting to Hong Kong, New York and Berlin; following my wife around as she work with technical design and QA for various fashion companies, finally moved back to Stockholm permanently in 2020.

Finding new and unexpected ways of using basic existing technology.

The English phrase "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear" is "Tala om trollen så står de i farstun" in Swedish. It translates to, "Speak of the trolls, and they'll be on the porch", making it much better adapted to modern day chat rooms where trolls outnumber devils five to one.

Was invited to TED Active 2012 in Palm Springs as part of the translator team, then came back for TED Active 2013 and TED Active 2014.
