An idea worth spreading

In today's world, in many countries, people blindly follow ideas disseminated via the Internet and have stopped thinking and reflecting. Today, cultivating critical thinking is more than necessary to ensure our humanity. I find this happening in Japan and Brazil especially in this pandemic. I admire a lot the philosophers of The Frankfurt School of Critical Theory and I am trying to I would very much like to seek a way to cultivate critical thinking in people and I am connecting with people who work with this idea in other countries. Besides opening the eyes of adults with biases, it is important to find ways to cultivate critical thinking in children and youth.

The TED story

I had translated Tsutomu Uematsu's video, precisely because of its content. In Japan, there is an increasing number of bullying and more and more, the income difference in society increases. In this environment, children are increasingly losing their own dreams and the will to live. This speech by Tsutomu is so inspiring that I wanted to spread this video to other countries around the world.
