Bio

Ewa is interested in working on wicked problems, particularly those to do with food, cities and the environment. She believes that there is no limit to what can be achieved if you don't care who gets the credit and sometimes feels that the world is coming round to this idea. She’s also passionate about local democracy and is interested in how we can use technology to hold our local politicians to account. A mechanical engineer by training, she's worked at Arup, the Design Council in London and as a freelance project manager for Community Action Network and London Business School in London, and a property developer and cheese importer in Poland.

I'm passionate about

People reaching beyond what they thought was possible, cheese and food politics.

An idea worth spreading

Eat real food. Look after the soil.

The TED story

I came across TED in 2000 and was blown away by how accessible this amazing store of knowledge is. I was involved in organising the first TEDx in Krakow and am now the license holder. I'm looking forward to engaging a wide variety of Cracovians in creating subsequent editions.
