Bio

The closeness to nature and the trees was some that imprinted my childhood in northern Sweden. Also the words and their meaning. Thereafter came interest for technology was early raised by my grandfather and my father. It became natural that I went for vocational training to become a process operator. Started to work at paper mill to produce paper pulp for news-print paper. After three years I went for a leave from the mill and started at college and thereafter university for master in chemical engineering and chemistry. During the time of my studies when learning about chemical sensor I realized, if I measure vibrations at process pipe and transform that data and calibrate against laboratory measurements for pulp quality. That result in my master thesis at performed at the pulp mill testing the idea and patenting the invention. Which in turn lead to an offer for PhD-student position at Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. I graduated as PhD in 2007. And on that way it is. I currently work as scientist at Sweden's most competent applied research for environment, cleantech and resource efficiency.
