An idea worth spreading
TremorMED is a software solution that can help partners in the health industry (Government, Health Practitioners, Investors and Patients) make quick decisions based on information on emergency cases, solved medical cases and existing diagnosis reports. As a way of sourcing information from the crowd, medical information is taken as input from emergency victims or third parties in form of button triggers, text, video and voice. Previous records of patients and previously handled cases are introduced in the background as data sets from subscribed Practitioners hidden from respondents. These are used to determine most successful treatments for emergency cases, nearest point of help and how much utilities are used. The parties using the solution are given reports based on what type of user they are. The victims of emergencies and/or their third party respondents are given details on first aid tips, nearest location to available health facility with the right resources to handle such case and how best to remain calm during crisis. Subscribed Government and Health Practitioners on the other hand, are given access to reports on data sets in form of Most used Utilities, Most occurring emergency cases, trends in medical approaches to handling such cases, localization of emergencies and advice on how resources can be allocated to localities in a State or Country. This can also help in effectively handling transfer of Cases or Patients from one Medical Practitioner to another.

The TED story
I have been fiddling properly with technology since I was 10. Loved the computer before that age though. Thinking of inventions and planning them with friends was boring at a point as we felt helpless in birthing them. I started watching TED Talks around 2009 when a friend and computer programming instructor gave me Pranav Mistry and Chimamanda Adiche's videos. I was intrigued and sought for more talks by downloading from the website. Sir Ken Robinson did a lot to make me understand education and I was always thrilled by inventions I saw while the musicians helped me get direction and calm in the head. At a time around December of 2009, I got over 300 TED Talks from a friend and watched all! I've since then had insights into achieving plans (from various talks) and how to keep going at the face of obstacles. I ensure everyone I meet watched at least 10 talks and I distribute them freely... Ideas Worth Spreading!
