Bio
I grew up in Indonesia and remain Indonesia-obsessed. As a fresh graduate, I began an internship at a development support facility set up to explore how knowledge management can support better development in the 12 poorest provinces of eastern Indonesia. I then joined BaKTI, or the Eastern Indonesia Knowledge Exchange, as a full time staff member. BaKTI gave me the most amazing education in the needs, conditions and dynamics of social development in Indonesia. I am passionate about exploring how knowledge and communication can change communities.
I'm passionate about

The TED story
After attending my first TEDx event in 2009, I really wanted to bring the experience and spirit of 'ideas worth sharing' to Makassar, South Sulawesi. The TEDxMakassar team has held 3 events now, each one more popular as the TEDx brand becomes more visible and accesible in Indonesia. We have a young audience of university students and NGO staff and maintain a very strong Makassar identity in choosing speakers and ideas. In 2013, I joined the TEDxUbud team as Co-Curator. We are very excited to be bringing the spirit of TEDx to Bali, Indonesia.
