Bio

Hi! My name is Stavros. I am 33 years old and I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. I lived in Greece up until the age of 26 and after finishing my studies in International Economics and served my military duty ( yes, we still have that in Greece..), I moved to Utrecht, the Netherlands where I followed a Master's in Business Management. It's been already 5 years since I start working for a Dutch company as an Account Manager, therefore I decided recently to quit and move to the next adventure. As I have abundant of free time at the moment, I joined TEDx so I can make more videos available to more people.

I'm passionate about

About a lot of things! Some times I think they have nothing to do with each other, but still. Name it Politics, History, Sports and Technology ( okay I meant to say video games!)

An idea worth spreading

It is an idea worth spreading. I totally agree on that! During the years, I have watched some amazing videos on the TEDx platform. I find the idea amazing, that all those people, who otherwise would not be able to do so, found a platform to tell us all such amazing stories. This is the power of TEDx, when you ask me. All these people who do amazing things, who had experiences that can change the lives of all of us. Therefore, I am a proud member of this community and I hope to contribute from my side as much as I can.

The TED story

Two years ago, I started learning German. Once I got the hang of it, one of the materials I used to improve my understanding, was TEDx videos. When my level reached the point where I could start writing texts and get the nuances of the language, I decided to contribute from my side to Spreading the Ideas! Unfortunately, at the moment I can only do that by translating videos from and to Greek, English and German. Hopefully one day I will jump on the scene and share with you something even more exciting!

Things you might not know
