About Irina
Bio
I am a teacher of English as a foreign language from Saint Petersburg, Russia. I received my degree in teaching English and German in 2004 and have been a teacher of English since. Over 10 years in the profession, I have taught teenagers, university students and adults. The courses I have taught include General English, Business English, IELTS preparation and TOEFL preparation.
In 2015, I won Fulbright FLTA grant and spent a year teaching Russian at the University of New Haven (CT, USA). I was also a non-degree student at UNH and took the following courses: "Public Speaking and Group Discussion," "Speaking and Writing for Professionals," "Introduction to Creative Writing," and "American History since 1607."
I love teaching and write a professional blog in English.
My English language proficiency is IELTS 9 or CEFR C2 (May 2016).
