Bio
I spent my first five years living in London before moving to a small village in Germany. After finishing school, I trained to be a nurse and went back to live in England in 2002. I worked at the RUH in Bath for four years on the Neurology Ward & Stroke Unit. After returning to Germany in 2006 I decided to go into occupational therapy and am now part of an excellent team, working for an organisation that provides jobs, care and assisted accomodation for people with handicaps.
I translate and review subtitles for TED Talks in my free time and have enjoyed curating TEDxKIT 2019.
I'm passionate about
Horses, Aikido, climbing, translating TED Talks.
An idea worth spreading
If we were all thankful for what we have, grateful for every experience and for the people who come into our lives and if we cared for each other, there would be less hatred, less greed and less suffering. Sometimes we don't understand other people's actions but we can only understand if we care and talk to each other.
Let's connect more, listen to and learn from each other.
