Bio
As a lifelong learner and cultural curator, I bridge ideas, cultures, and people. My work since 2009 as a TED Translator and Language Supervisor, bringing powerful ideas to a global Chinese-speaking audience, is a direct expression of this mission. From dialogues within the UN Global Compact to pioneering the world's first Gaudi Digital Museum, my conviction is that transformative change arises from the fusion of disparate fields. I am committed to harmonising Eastern philosophical depth with global challenges to build a more resilient and inclusive future, guided by the principle: "Walk with the wise, and dance with the rules."
I'm passionate about
Pioneering new forms of cultural dialogue, using art and technology as a universal language; advancing systemic women's empowerment and youth leadership; and identifying and amplifying our shared human values in an uncertain world.
An idea worth spreading
We are moving from a world built on treaties and trade to one built on narratives and consensus. The map of the future will be drawn by the stories we tell together, not just by the borders we hold. The next essential skill of leadership is to become a master storyteller and consensus-builder — one who can weave a common narrative in which diverse civilisations can find belonging and purpose.
Areas of expertise
Cross-Sectoral Strategic Integration, Cultural Heritage Preservation and Innovation, Global Governance and International Cooperation, Public Art and Urban Cultural Development, Sustainable Development and ESG
The TED story
My TED journey began in 2009 with the discovery of a platform dedicated to connecting profound ideas across boundaries — a purpose that resonated deeply with me. This inspiration quickly turned into action when I became a TED Translator, a role that has since evolved into Language Supervisor. I consider it a privilege to help weave these powerful ideas into other languages and cultures — a practice of precision and passion that ensures a moment of insight or a burst of laughter can find a global audience. In my professional work, I've used TED Talks to fuel discussions with my teams on sustainable cities and cultural innovation; these dialogues have, in turn, catalysed tangible projects with UN agencies and governments. To me, TED is a global forum for building consensus, demonstrating that the most powerful change begins with a clear, authentic narrative. I am profoundly grateful to contribute to this mission, helping ideas transcend geography and discipline to inspire genuine action and collaboration.

Identifying the single most impactful 'leverage point' within immensely complex systems — a skill honed equally by the analytical logic fostered through Mensa and the intuitive sense of structure and harmony developed as an orchestral cello principal and pipe organist.
