About Hanna

Bio

I decided to join the community of TED translators because I am passionate about breaking the language barrier between people. I myself greatly benefitted from TED talks, so I am glad to make them accessible to others through creating subtitles for TED materials. I am an avid reader (currently reading "The Museum of Innocence" by Orhan Pamuk), animal lover (animal welfare issues are very important to me) and a big fan of learning languages (currently focusing on Mandarin Chinese and Malay). I am studying at Yale-NUS College in Singapore, majoring in Global Affairs.

I'm passionate about

social issues, world conflicts, human rights, foreign languages, modern Singaporean fiction
