I curated TEDxKazimierz from 2015 to 2020. I spoke at TEDxKrakow about starting a global movement via a Facebook group, at TEDxWrocławSalon about it never being too late (or early) to get into entrepreneurship and at TEDxTarnow about being "Opportunity Ready". I did a workshop at the TEDSummit in Banff on Community Building. Since 2009, I've been variously a host, sponsor, speaker, team member, co-organiser, trainer and supporter of or at: TEDxKrakow, TEDxKrakowCinema TEDxYouth@Krakow TEDxYouth@Podgorze TEDxWarsawSalon TEDxWarsawPresidentialPlace TEDxYouth@Warsaw I organised three "pre-events" for TEDxWarsaw with TEDxCalgary I co-organized pre-events before the Banff TEDSummit in 2016. TEDFestNYC and TEDSummit 2019 I’ve attended TEDxBrighton and TEDxShoreditch in the UK and almost all TEDxKrakow and TEDxWarsaw events. I recorded a video message of encouragement and support for TEDxFayhaaPark in Syria in December 2017. The Lucases are a "TEDx" family :-) One of my children has been the main licence holder for a TEDx event in her University, another has been a core team member of a TEDxYouth event, the third is leading a TEDx project in his High School. All three have volunteered at and attended TEDx events. Two have been entertainers and done workshops in breaks at TEDx-es. My brother has been a speaker at two TEDx-es. My sister flew 2000 miles to attend one TEDxKazimierz. I set up the TED and TEDx fans in Poland and the TED and TEDx Fans Travel and Meetup Club on Facebook which aims to bring Couchsurfing values and build community among TED and TEDx fans. I use TED talks in enterprise workshops I run in schools and universities. I sometimes give talks about TED, TEDx and TEDxKazimierz at other organisations' events. I write about TED and TEDx on my blog at richardlucas.com and sometimes interview TEDx Licence holders and speakers for my Project Kazimierz podcast. I like people who like TEDx and TED. I've transcribed TEDx talks for the Open Translation Project and organised two Transcribathons. Since September 2019 I've organised TED Circles, including concentric Circles with Mel Rosenberg in Israel
