Born in Karachi, Pakistan(undivided India) on 12 July 1936. Educated in Karachi, Vadodara, Dhule, Pune and Mumbai. Post Graduate in Commerce, with Cost Accountancy. Worked in 1. Manufacturing Industry 13 years--Finance, Accounts. 2. Management Consultancy Service Company 23 years-- Finance & Accounts, Law & Taxation 3. Public Charitable Trust --NGO - 12 Years, Trustee & Treasurer. 4. Hon. Director and Treasurer-- Company registered under Sec. 25 of the Companies Act -Not for profit Company engaged in Advocacy , training etc. in Gerontology.
