About Diễm Phúc
Bio
I am from Can Tho, Vietnam, and I have a background in International Business and Economic Management. I currently work in human resources at DHG Pharma, where I have gained practical experience in personal income tax and employee-related processes.
Beyond my professional responsibilities, I am interested in how people learn, grow, and find meaningful career paths. I enjoy exploring new ideas, understanding different perspectives, and connecting knowledge with real-life experiences. I believe that learning is not only about gaining information but also about developing the ability to think critically, adapt to change, and make better decisions.
I am especially interested in learning and development, psychology, education, and career development. In the future, I hope to combine my practical experience with research and teaching to help people learn more effectively and grow both personally and professionally.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about lifelong learning, self-development, and understanding human behavior. I enjoy exploring how people acquire knowledge, develop new skills, discover their strengths, and make career decisions.
I am also interested in psychology, human resources, education, and the ways people can support one another's growth. I like turning complex information into practical lessons that are easier to understand and apply.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy watching movies and crocheting. These activities give me opportunities to relax, appreciate creativity, and learn to be patient.
For me, personal growth is not about becoming better than other people. It is about understanding myself more deeply, becoming more capable over time, and finding ways to contribute to others.
An idea worth spreading
Learning how to learn is just as important as what we learn.
In a world where information is constantly changing, memorizing knowledge is not enough. We need to understand how we learn, ask better questions, connect ideas, and turn what we know into meaningful action.
I believe that everyone can improve through small, consistent steps when they have the right learning methods and a clear sense of direction. We do not need to know everything before we begin, and we do not need to be perfect to make progress.
Sometimes, the most important step in personal growth is not learning more, but learning how to learn better.

The TED story
My journey has taught me that personal growth is not always a straight path. I have studied business and economic management, built practical experience in human resources, and continued exploring what kind of work would make the best use of my strengths and interests.
Although I have not figured out every part of my future, I have become increasingly curious about learning itself: how people learn, how knowledge can be shared effectively, and how education can help people discover new possibilities.
This curiosity has encouraged me to look beyond my current job and explore opportunities to learn from people with different experiences and perspectives.
TED Talks have the potential to introduce us to ideas we might never encounter in our daily lives. Through the TED Translators program, I hope to contribute to that exchange by helping Vietnamese-speaking audiences access valuable ideas in their own language.
For me, this is another opportunity to keep learning while making knowledge more accessible to others.
People don't know I'm good at
People may not realize that I enjoy finding different ways to approach a problem and learning unfamiliar things independently. When I encounter something new, I tend to explore it, look for useful resources, compare different explanations, and find a way to apply what I learn.
I am also good at connecting ideas and organizing information so that it becomes easier to understand. I enjoy breaking complicated topics into smaller, more manageable parts and identifying the practical lessons behind them.
Another strength is my adaptability. Even when I do not have all the answers at the beginning, I am willing to learn, adjust my approach, and keep working toward a solution.
I may not know everything yet, but I believe that curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to learn can take me a long way.
