Bio
My name is Le Chi Lap. I was born in 2000 and I am originally from Ca Mau, Vietnam. I currently live, study, and work in Can Tho City, where I am building my professional career and continuously developing my knowledge and skills.
I work in the legal sector at the People’s Procuracy of Can Tho City. My professional journey has taught me the importance of responsibility, integrity, lifelong learning, and serving the community.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy traveling, sports, learning English, exploring new ideas, and participating in youth and community activities. I believe that personal growth is not only about achieving success for ourselves, but also about using what we learn to create positive value for others.
I am always interested in learning from different perspectives, connecting with people, and discovering ideas that can make a meaningful difference in society.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about learning, personal development, law, community service, and connecting with people.
I enjoy learning new things, especially languages and knowledge that can improve both my professional work and my understanding of the world. I am also interested in technology and the ways it can be used to make communication, education, and public service more effective.
Community activities are another important part of my life. Through youth volunteer programs and social initiatives, I have had opportunities to work with others, support people facing difficulties, and contribute to my community. These experiences have taught me that giving time and effort to others can be just as rewarding as achieving personal goals.
I also enjoy traveling and sports. Traveling allows me to experience different cultures and perspectives, while sports help me stay disciplined, energetic, and balanced.
Above all, I am passionate about becoming a better version of myself while creating positive value for the people around me.
An idea worth spreading
I believe that small actions can create meaningful change when they are carried out with sincerity and shared with others.
In a rapidly changing world, young people have more opportunities than ever to learn, connect, and contribute to society. We do not always need to do something extraordinary to make a difference. Sometimes, listening to someone, sharing knowledge, helping a person in difficulty, volunteering in the community, or simply inspiring another person to believe in themselves can be the beginning of positive change.
I believe that young people should not only pursue personal success, but also develop a sense of responsibility toward their communities. When knowledge, compassion, and action come together, even a small contribution can become part of something much bigger.
For me, the idea worth spreading is simple: Positive change begins with ordinary people choosing to do meaningful things, one small action at a time.
Areas of expertise
and public service, I am a Prosecutor at the People’s Procuracy of Can Tho City, justice, specializing in prosecution and criminal justice. My work focuses on law, with a strong commitment to protecting the law and the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations.
The TED story
My TED story begins with my curiosity about people, knowledge, and the world around me.
Growing up in Ca Mau and later studying and working in Can Tho has given me different perspectives on life, education, work, and community. My professional experience in the legal sector has also taught me that knowledge becomes more meaningful when it is used to serve people and society.
Through my work and youth activities, I have had opportunities to communicate with different people, organize community programs, share information, and participate in volunteer initiatives. These experiences have gradually changed the way I think about leadership, responsibility, and social contribution.
TED represents something that I value deeply: the power of ideas to connect people and inspire change. I joined the TED community because I want to listen to perspectives beyond my own, learn from people with different experiences, and share ideas that may be useful to others.
I hope my TED journey will be a journey of continuous learning, meaningful connections, and contributing my own small part to a community where ideas can inspire positive action.
Things you might not know
People may not know that I am good at turning ideas into practical activities.
I enjoy planning, organizing, and bringing people together to make a project happen. Whether it is a professional task, a youth activity, a community program, or a communication project, I like thinking about how an idea can be presented clearly and transformed into something meaningful and useful.
I am also comfortable working behind the scenes—organizing details, writing content, coordinating with others, and solving unexpected problems along the way.
Another strength I value is my ability to keep learning. I may not know everything at the beginning, but I am willing to ask questions, learn from others, practice, and improve.
Perhaps the most important thing people do not immediately see is that I genuinely enjoy helping others succeed. I believe good teamwork is not about one person standing out, but about everyone becoming better together.
