Bio
I am an undergraduate student in Translation and Interpreting at Selçuk University with a strong interest in Korean language, translation studies, and AI-assisted translation. I enjoy exploring how technology and human creativity can work together to improve translation quality while preserving cultural meaning. Through research, language learning, and public speaking, I hope to contribute to cross-cultural communication and inspire others to keep learning.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about languages, translation, and the way communication connects people across cultures. I enjoy learning Korean, exploring translation technologies, and researching how AI can support translators without replacing the human understanding that language requires. I also believe that sharing ideas through public speaking can inspire meaningful change.
An idea worth spreading
We often believe that success comes from constantly working harder than everyone else. However, true growth begins when we learn to protect ourselves, respect our own pace, and continue moving forward without losing who we are. Technology may change the way we communicate, but empathy, culture, and human understanding will always remain at the heart of translation

The TED story
My journey began with a simple curiosity about languages, but it gradually became a passion for understanding people through communication. Along the way, I realized that pursuing success without rest can lead to exhaustion instead of growth. This experience inspired me to reflect on the importance of balancing ambition with self-care. Through my TED journey, I hope to encourage others to embrace learning, value cultural understanding, and remember that moving at their own pace is not a weakness but a strength.
Things you might not know
Many people don't know that I enjoy analyzing translation choices in great detail. I like comparing different translations, identifying subtle differences in meaning, and exploring how AI and human translators approach the same text. I also enjoy organizing research ideas and turning complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations.
