About Sude

Bio

I am a student of English Translation and Interpreting at Çağ University. I firmly believe that language is not just a set of words, but the most powerful tool that builds bridges between different cultures and people. With my dynamic, adaptable, and punctual nature, I genuinely enjoy working in team environments and being a part of projects that create a positive social impact.

I'm passionate about

Expressing my inner world through charcoal and acrylic techniques, a lifelong passion, and integrating mythological elements and traditional motifs into my contemporary artwork Growing up closely connected to nature has given me a deep sense of responsibility toward environmental protection, sustainability, and raising public awareness about forest fire prevention

An idea worth spreading

In a rapidly digitizing and homogenizing world, I believe that the symbols and cultural motifs embedded in our roots still serve as powerful universal storytellers today. Language is not limited to spoken words; it is a shared memory hidden within art, mythology, and traditional patterns. Correctly decoding this visual heritage from history and blending it with modern art is the key to cultural sustainability. When we discover the shared symbols of different cultures, we realize how few differences we actually have, allowing us to connect on a global scale. My idea worth spreading is to use this unifying, border-transcending power of language and art to make the silent symbols of the past speak dynamically in today's world.

The TED story

My TED journey began as an inspired viewer, fascinated by how a 15 minute talk could completely shift someone's perspective on life. However, my true connection flourished when I stepped behind the scenes as a foyer area volunteer for the TEDx Çağ University event. Being part of the organization's backbone allowed me to witness the immense dedication it takes to bring 'ideas worth spreading' to life. Managing the foyer area taught me how crucial interpersonal communication, quick problem-solving, and a welcoming environment are to the overall experience. For me, TED is not just a stage; it is a dynamic ecosystem where passion meets intellect, and my story is about contributing to that synergy and helping people connect through shared knowledge

Things you might not know

Most people see me as an enthusiastic translation student or a dedicated volunteer, but they often don't realize how deeply my linguistic skills interconnect with my lifelong passion for visual arts and cultural symbolism. Having been trained in charcoal, oil, and acrylic painting since my childhood, I have developed a sharp eye for visual storytelling. I am exceptionally good at 'translating' abstract concepts, ancient myths, and traditional motifs into contemporary visual art forms. While many view translation solely as a textual tool, I excel at finding the hidden vocabulary within cultural symbols and bringing them to life on a canvas. This interdisciplinary intuition allows me to bridge the gap between words and imagery in a way that people rarely expect at first glance
