The TED story
As a physician in Can Tho, I have met people from many different backgrounds, each carrying unique health challenges and life stories. Throughout my medical career, I realized that medicine is not only about diagnosing diseases and prescribing treatments. It is also about understanding people, building trust, and helping them make informed decisions about their health.
One lesson that has stayed with me is that many serious health problems could be prevented through awareness, education, and early action. Yet many patients only seek medical attention when their condition has already become severe. These experiences inspired me to become an advocate for health education and preventive care.
My TED story is about how empowering people with knowledge can transform healthcare. I believe that when individuals understand their health better, they become active participants in their own well-being, creating healthier families and communities.
