I am currently completing a degree in English language education and have been studying English since early childhood. My academic background has provided me with strong skills in linguistics, translation, and text analysis. I am motivated to contribute to TED because I value clear communication of ideas and I would like to develop my subtitling skills in a real, collaborative environment.

I’m passionate about dance and sports as forms of discipline and self-expression, psychology as a way to better understand human behavior, and non-fiction as a source of knowledge and critical thinking, all of which shape my interest in language and communication.

Making knowledge accessible across languages empowers people, connects cultures, and allows important ideas to reach a truly global audience.

I first discovered TED through my academic work, when my supervisor introduced it as a valuable resource for my research on subtitle creation. As I explored more talks, I became genuinely interested not only in the ideas themselves but also in how they are communicated across languages and cultures. This inspired me to join the TED Translators community and contribute by making these ideas more accessible to a wider audience.

People don’t know I’m good at noticing subtle details, understanding people’s emotions and intentions, and finding the right way to express complex ideas clearly and naturally. This often helps me connect different perspectives and make communication feel more effortless.
